Dear Parents,

My name is Mrs. Heather Campos, and I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year. Your child is in K1, located on the bottom floor, in the last classroom on the left. I look forward to meeting all of you, and working with you to ensure a GREAT school year for your child! I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about myself.

I was a student at St. Jerome’s, as was much of my rather large extended family. My own daughter will be in third grade here this year. During my second year of college I returned to my roots and began working at St. Jerome’s. Until I graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Early Childhood Education, I worked various positions in the school and the Child Center. This will be my 16^th Kindergarten class.

As parents, you are your child’s first and most important teacher. My goal is to expand on the wonderful foundation you have given your child to help him/her succeed. Together, we need to work for the benefit of your child. Your support and encouragement will be essential to your child’s learning. I will keep you informed about all aspects of your child’s experiences at school. With home and school working together, I know your child will be able to reach his/ her best potential!!
