St. Jerome School is a Catholic elementary school, PK-8, established in October of 1943 in Hyattsville, MD. It is staffed by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, and lay faculty. Directed by the guidelines offered by the Catholic Schools Office of the Archdiocese of Washington, St. Jerome is about teaching and learning, caring and sharing, and clarifying and deepening the faith of all our students. Our children receive a strong foundation not only in their studies, but also in the habits of heart and spirit, which speak of generosity and forgiveness, respect for one another, and ambition for the greater things of life. Our faculty, staff, parents and guardians are all essential building blocks in that foundation. History of St. Jerome School |
